What’s worth knowing this week in Denver June 30 – July 6, 2017? Dogs, goats and yoga, a Final Friday Art Walk, and how to win a boozy Denver adventure. Plus a few more things to know…

So sad to hear of the Squeaky Bean closing this past week. We ate a lot of great meals there through the years (though, admittedly, many of them were at the original LoHi location). Breman’s Wine and Tap is now open in LoHi.

Saucy Bombay is serving up fast-casual Indian fare on Colfax. Owlhouse Barbecue is planning a bricks-and-mortar opening in RiNo in August. Breakfast joint Hashtag opened in Stapleton.

It’s now been confirmed…DIA will get a slightly smaller Denver Central Market in 2018.

About 2000 Denverites participated in this week’s Bike to Work Day. So is it worth biking around the city the other 364 days?

What kind of Passport drinker are you? The Denver Passport Program is offering the chance to win one of four boozy adventures: Day Drinker, Date Night, Hangar Games, or Brunch Fiend. Enter now and you may get to drink your way through Denver for free.

Denver neighborhoods are known for their First Friday Art Walks, but starting today the Golden Triangle is introducing a Final Friday Art Walk.

Dogs and goats and yoga all in one place. (Yes, that place is Boulder.)

How will you be spending the holiday(ish) weekend? The Annual Cherry Creek Arts Festival is this weekend (get some scoop on how best to navigate it here) and so is Denver Comic Con. Here’s a few more things to do with kids this weekend and 11 ways to celebrate the 4th with food and drink in Denver.  Plus, a whole month of July fun (you won’t want to miss all the delicious foodie events!).

Enjoy the holiday weekend!
