What’s worth knowing in Denver this week May 12-18, 2017? Where to find downtown Denver’s new pop-up summer park, where you can rooftop-and-poolside drink, and 30 Colorado beer releases you won’t want to miss.

The seasonal rooftop bar Departure Elevated (with poolside lounging!) is now open in Cherry Creek. But Denver’s new bar 54thirty may boast the city’s best views. South Broadway’s Turtle Boat brings “Colorado-style” poke to Denver. Goed Zuur, a sour-only beer bar, is now open in Five PointsThe Corner Office recently re-opened with a new menu. The Sloan’s Lake Alamo Drafthouse will be opening in just a few more days. And, don’t worry…Ratio Beerworks is only closed temporarily.

A second Rosenberg’s Bagels will be opening soon in The Stanley Marketplace. Get a sneak preview of Senor Bear (from the Bar Dough gang) soon to open in LoHi.  What to expect when Citizen Rail opens behind Union Station later this summer. Chef Ian Kleinman’s The Inventing Room will be re-opening…this time in northwest Denver. And, Wayward, a new “vegetable-focused” restaurant will open in the former Zengo location this fall.

Denver’s Ballpark neighborhood will be getting a pop-up park starting June 15. The Square on 21st will be located between Lawrence and Larimer streets and filled with potted trees, artificial turf, seating, lawn and board games, and even a designate dog park area.
