What’s worth knowing this week in Denver November 10 – 16, 2017? Where you can order a drink AND shoes, Whole Foods at Union Station is opening (and some local businesses are inside!), why this dog is wearing a hat, and your other Thanksgiving options. Plus, a few more things to know…
Just in time for holiday shopping season (which seems to be getting underway if you judge by the number of holiday pop-up markets this weekend)…you can now go to a bar to do your shopping. At least for shoes. Sneekeazy, Denver’s new shoe store and cocktail lounge opens today. (Next up…martinis and purses? Oh, I’d totally go to that bar.)
Something else Denverites have been waiting for…the Whole Foods at Union Station finally opens next week, and will include local food venues like Birdcall, Tel Aviv Street Food, Allegro Coffee Roasters, and Fudmill.
Kitchen Table BBQ & Comfort Food relocated its famed barbecue and mac and cheese from City Park to Colfax. RiNo Beer Garden is open for business. Stapleton will be getting its own Punch Bowl Social next weekend. And Ultreia at Union Station is planning a late November opening.
The Source’s Svper Ordinary has closed, but holiday pop-up RiNo Made will be filling the space for a while (starting today!).
Colorado Mills is re-opening Tuesday, November 21. (Did you ever think a hail storm could cause so much damage?? For weeks afterwards my kids actually played “Oh no! The hail is coming!”)
Save the date for dolling your favorite furry kids up for a holiday portrait. Molly’s Spirits will be hosting a Pet Portraits and Adoption event on November 18, which will benefit Life is Better Rescue, and include a small group of dogs available for adoption.
Who doesn’t love brunch? No one. Which is why Denver’s got a brunch for everyone.
You may want to avoid Denver’s most dangerous intersections.
What are you up to this weekend? It’s Denver Fashion Weekend…here’s the line-up. Other worthwhile options…TEDMileHigh: Wonder and Denver Veterans Day Parade & Festival. Plus, a few things to do with the kiddos and more November happenings.
Enjoy the weekend!
